Hanmer Wastewater Disposal Pipeline

⁠⁠⁠The project is located in Hanmer Springs, North Canterbury. The proposed wastewater upgrade installation runs from the Hanmer Wastewater Treatment Ponds on SH7a along SH7a to Chattertons Road then along Chattertons Road, the pipeline then cuts across private land to finish at River Road.
The proposed pipeline consist of approximately 4000 metres of DN250 PN16 PE 100 and 1700 m of DN250 PE100 PN12.5 wastewater main. The project also consists of wastewater manholes, sluice valves, scour valves and air valves. The Contractor is to supply and install all pipes, valves, fittings and to perform all pipe welding. Hurunui District Council will supply the pipe but the contractor has to liaise with the pipe supplier for the timing of the pipe deliveries.
