Horizon Power invites you to submit an Expression of Interest for the proposed Denham Hydrogen Demonstration Plant.
Horizon Power is committed to deliver cleaner, greener energy to the communities that it serves in regional Western Australia. As part of this commitment, Horizon Power is investigating the potential to develop a hydrogen demonstration plant in Denham by early 2021 to test the suitability and capability of hydrogen as a renewable source of energy for electricity generation (Project).
Horizon Power is seeking to engage with interested and capable service providers that may be able to strategically partner with Horizon Power to deliver (and potentially expand or replicate) the Project.
The Scope of Work comprises two (2) Separable Portions:
- Separable portion 1 (HP01899A): Supply of long-lead items only for the hydrogen demonstration plant (e.g. electrolyser and fuel cell); and
- Separable portion 2 (HP01899B): Engineering and construction of the hydrogen demonstration plant and supply of all required materials and equipment (excluding any long-lead items that are provided under separable portion 1).
EOI Participants are requested to submit an Expression of Interest for one or both of the Separable Portions of the Scope of Work.
Technical capability, quality, ability to deliver on schedule and value for money, safety, environment, ethical sourcing, innovation and strategic partnership opportunities, as well as opportunities for local industry and communities, are the focus points of this Expression of Interest.
The reference numbers for this Request for Expression of Interest are:
- HP01899A – Denham Hydrogen Demonstration Plant – Supply of Long-Lead Items; and
- HP01899B – Denham Hydrogen Demonstration Plant – Engineering, Procurement and Construction (Excluding Supply of Long-Lead Items).
