EOI Bridges Hill PlayGround Art

⁠⁠⁠Cessnock City Council is inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the creation of original artworks that will be installed onsite in the Bridges Hill Park Playground. Bridges Hill Park Playground is located on the corner of Yango and Victoria Streets, Cessnock. See Appendix 1 for site map.

The artworks should tell Wonnarua stories and engage visitors with Wonnarua culture.

There are two components to the EOI:

Project 1: To create and install a mural to recognise Wonnarua people and/or depict Wonnarua stories.

Project 2: To create a sculptural artwork for installation onsite to recognise Wonnarua people and/or depict Wonnarua stories.

Artists are invited to submit for one or both of the projects.
