Ferry Wharf Upgrade Program - Managing Contractor - Industry Briefing

⁠⁠⁠Suitably experienced organisations are invited to attend an industry briefing where information will be provided about plans by the Ferry Wharf Upgrades Program to engage a Managing Contractor to manage and deliver detail design and construction of upgraded wharf interchanges for the following wharves:

• Double Bay
• Darling Point
• Watsons Bay
• South Mosman
• Greenwich Point
• Taronga Zoo.

Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) along with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is committed to improving public transport services and providing a world-class transport system people want to use. This includes delivering modern, safe and accessible transport infrastructure across the Sydney Ferry Network.

Transport is integral to all economic and social activity in NSW and contributes to long term economic, social and environmental outcomes. Delivering ferry wharf upgrades – such as new wharves, lifts and wayfinding – helps improve customer experience and increase social inclusion. The modernisation of the network also helps bring ageing infrastructure in line with current accessibility standards, making it possible for everyone to access transport services.

No information will be provided prior to the Industry Briefing and no response will be sought from organisations that attend the Industry Briefing. There is no limit to how many attendees may attend from each organisation. All attendees will be required register their attendance at the Industry Briefing.

The objectives of the Industry Briefing are:

· To provide information about the Ferry Wharf Upgrades Program to organisations that provide managing contractor services.

· For Roads and Maritime Services to gauge the level of interest from potential suppliers of managing contractor services for the future upgrade of ferry wharf interchanges on the Sydney Ferry Network.
