Tender ID: 404673
Tender Details
Tender Description
Background
Central Coast Council operates eight (8x) sewage treatment plants (STPs) and two (2x) water treatment plants (WTPs) located throughout the Central Coast. A number of sewage treatment plants use sludge lagoons to stabilise, store and thicken sludge produced by the treatment processes, such as from anaerobic digesters or waste activated sludge (WAS) from activated sludge systems. Mardi WTP uses sludge lagoons to store alum sludge produced by the treatment process. Aluminium Sulphate is the coagulant used onsite.
Description and Objective
The intended purpose of the tender is to provide Central Coast Council with a long-term service arrangement for the removal and dewatering of sludge from sludge lagoons at each of the specified plants, as required.
