103-20 - GRC, from time to time requires grinding services which may include the transporting of the processed material from the processing area to stockpiling area. GRC wish to establish a register of qualified and licenced Service Providers to undertake these services on an as needed basis.
Green waste, timber waste and mattresses are stockpiled at waste collection facilities throughout the Region and require processing on an as needed basis. In addition, timber waste is stockpiled in road reserves or other lay-down areas throughout the Region and requires processing on an as needed basis.
Processing this waste reduces landfill and enables GRC to offer mulched material internally to GRC Operations and to residents.
