Silver Chain's frontline staff are those working in the community of which may be in metropolitan, country or remote areas with limited or no access to emergency services. Staff members are often working alone whether they are driving long or short distances, in a client's home, in a high-risk area, working late or early mornings or even working in a clinic situation where they are the only person. At times they may not be in a network service area and therefore we also need a solution for those persons.

Frontline staff may face emergency situations such as the sudden onset of a medical condition, accidental work-related injury or disease, attack by an animal, violence, exposure to environmental factors, or by becoming stranded without food or water.

In these situations, staff need a lone worker device and process - a Lone Worker Solution - to rely on for immediate help.

It is with this intent that we are seeking a National Lone Worker Solution that is reliable, easy to use, cost-effective and meets a broad range of lone worker situations.
