Movement and Control of Stock Services at Roma Saleyards

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced businesses to undertake Movement and Control of Stock Services at Roma Saleyards - Australia’s largest cattle selling centre. The current service agreement finishes on 30 April 2020, and the new agreement is for a proposed term of 3 years, with a further 2 year term at Councils discretion.

Maranoa Regional Council owns and operates Roma Saleyards - an accredited centre for store, prime, stud, special sales, private weighing and spelling services. The centre operates as a 24/7 facility which is accredited with both the NSQA (National Saleyards Quality Assured) and EUCAS (European Union Cattle Accreditation Scheme).

The tender for Movement and Control of Stock Services at Roma Saleyards ensures that Council has access to demand driven quality labour, horses and equipment.
