Expression of Interest for Independent Advocacy
Tender ID: 404220
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Department of Communities (Communities) is undertaking an Expression of Interest (EOI) process to support the delivery of innovative independent advocacy services to people with disability, their families and carers across Western Australia.
Communities recognises that people with disability benefit from effective independent advocacy that promotes, protects and ensures their human rights and facilitates their full community participation.
EOI community and service level outcomes were identified by participants in a consultative forum attended by 35 organisations.
Participants advised that effective advocacy by funded organisations required a clear separation between service delivery and advocacy support, a single point of contact embedded in the community being serviced, and informal and formal partnership arrangements between advocacy providers.
Further information about the proposed services required can be found in ‘Part B: Potential service requirements’ of the EOI Request.
If you have any enquiries about this EOI process, please contact the authorised Communities representative listed below. Please note that any communication in relation to this Request, or EOIs submitted under this Request, should be directed to authorised representatives only
