Grazing - Mair Street

⁠⁠⁠Otorohanga District Council is seeking written expressions of interest in relation to maintaining the 2.1 hectare (approx) open drain grass area adjacent to Mair Street in Otorohanga. A map identifying the area can be viewed here via link below.

Maintaining the area in question is expected to involve the appointee (ideally a neighbour or nearby local resident) supervising and rotating a small number of his or her grazing animals within the area.

The intention is that the appointee maintain the area at a nominal consideration pursuant to a written licence to graze with Council including keeping grass to a reasonable height, control of noxious weeds and repair of fencing where necessary.

If interested, written expressions of interest (by email or letter) are to be received by Council with an outline of your relevant circumstances/availability on or before 12 November 2019.
