Invitation to Supply Literacy and Numeracy Professional Learning Programs for Preschool Educators

⁠⁠⁠The Department for Education seeks to procure professional learning for South Australian preschool educators focused on building the capability of educators to design, implement and evaluate literacy and numeracy curriculum for preschool children.

Orbis, within the department, oversees the delivery of professional learning (PL) to educators in South Australia. Our approach to professional learning is based on the experiences of the world’s best education systems who engage their leaders and teachers in learning that is purposeful, collaborative and empowering. Orbis currently delivers literacy, numeracy and leadership professional learning to educators in schools.

The successful external supplier(s) will be required to co-design the professional learning programs with department staff to ensure alignment with the Quality Preschool Improvement Planning Process and advice provided in the Preschool Literacy and Numeracy guides. The successful external supplier(s) will then deliver each program while Orbis will retain oversight and accountability for program delivery.
