Buller Hospital Demolition

⁠⁠⁠The West Coast District Health Board (WCDHB) is seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from contractors who have experience in:

• asbestos management and disposal,
• soft strip,
• salvage and demolition of an asbestos contaminated structure in a controlled environment.

WCDHB also require contractors to have experience with the protection of essential service infrastructure and building disconnection works.

The WCDHB is planning for the construction of the Buller Health Centre on the existing hospital site in Westport. The project requires a staged demolition of a number of existing buildings. This ROI includes Stage 1 demolition. Stage 2 demolition works tender is planned to occur following the occupation of the new Buller Health Centre due for completion in Q 1 2022.
