Intelligent Meter Project

⁠⁠⁠All GVW contractors who tender for work with a total of 100k or more will be required to have a third party certified safety system e.g. AS/NZS 4801:2001

GVW envisages that following the assessment of submissions, one or more successful vendors/manufacturers will be invited to enter into formal negotiations for the implementation of the intelligent metering system.

The purpose of this Expression of Interest (EOI) is to seek further information regarding:

• Intelligent Metering Options;
• Communication Network Options;
• Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS) functionality;
• Which of the above options are compatible; and
• Construction Options for the above.

Provided sufficient information is gained from the EOI process, the top responses could be offered the opportunity to participate in an Invited Request for Tender (RFT) process.
