Mitchell Bore 30, Borehole Drilling and Construction

⁠⁠⁠20012 Maranoa Regional Council invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to submit a schedule of rates pricing and supporting documentation for the construction of Mitchell Town Bore 3 at Mitchell Queensland 4465.

The requirement for an additional bore located in Mitchell has arisen from the lack of redundancy with the existing bores, should one of the bores fail during the peak demand times. This bore is located at the southern reservoir and will feed directly into the reservoir providing better pressure and reduced operating costs.

Works to be carried out under this project comprise the drilling, casing, cementing, developing and testing of one (1) town water production bore for the Maranoa Regional Council’s Mitchell Town Water Supply, using suitable drilling plant and equipment.
