Tender Description
More Trains, More Services (MTMS) Stage 2 is a 10 year, $4.3Bn project to upgrade rail services in Greater Sydney and the Illawarra rail corridor.
Downer and Lendlease have entered into a joint venture called ‘Capacity Plus’ to deliver the Sydney to Illawarra component of MTMS Stage 2.
Capacity Plus is currently seeking expressions of interest from skilled and qualified Subcontracting companies (with or without rail project experience) and suppliers of project related goods for future trade opportunities on the MTMS project. In addition to the supply of goods, a wide range of trades and services are required including (but not limited to) Asbestos Removal, Builders, Civil Construction, Drug & Alcohol Testing, Electrical, Fencing, Landscaping, Piling, Plumbing, Surveying, Waste Disposal and many others.
An important element of the project is to realise the TfNSW Social Procurement Workforce Policy and Procedure for Capital Projects. The objectives of the policy are to optimise the social benefits TfNSW delivers through its investments by incentivising industry to build workforce capability and capacity as well as maximising employment opportunities for underrepresented groups.
