This Request for Tender is for a High Voltage, Low Voltage and Communications Design Consultant commission to provide services for a component of two, future building projects on the JCU Townsville campus.
Both buildings and the Early Works packages are expected to be delivered under a Lump Sum Traditional Contract.
The Early Works scope includes the design of the final Mt Stuart Street profile with setbacks for both buildings, the works to unencumber both building sites by providing alternative paths for existing infrastructure (trunk Chilled Water pipes, High Voltage and Communications cables) and the provision of trunk infrastructure connection points for all building services on both building sites.
Design for the Early Works scope is proposed to commence in early November 2019. The mechanical construction contractors are required to be engaged before the end of February 2020, to meet key shut down dates in June 2020 and completion of the entire Early Works scope before end July 2020.
