Education Infrastructure Service (EIS) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced Health and Safety Audit provider.
The Ministry undertakes a significant programme of Capital Works construction and maintenance each year across the New Zealand school property portfolio. This work is carried out by contracting organisations engaged by the Ministry.
As a Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) the Ministry is required under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) to consult, cooperate and coordinate with other PCBUs with a shared duty on the same matter. The Ministry has both an obligation and commitment to provide positive leadership and influence to ensure the health and safety of workers and others affected by the work on school property construction projects and sites.
Interested providers should have capacity and capability to provide Health and Safety Audits for the Ministry in the following key areas:
- Site and main building contractor
- Project Management; and
- Health and Safety at Organisational level
To be considered for this opportunity you must satisfy all of the following pre-conditions:
- Nationwide coverage with offices in the main centres (Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch).
Respondents that are not able to satisfy all pre-conditions should conclude that they are unable to meet our Requirements and will not benefit from submitting a Proposal.
