Web Project Manager

⁠⁠⁠We are seeking a Web Project Manager to join our team. You will be based in the PMO and working on projects Institute wide. Given our work revolves around information and statistics and the presentation of statistics to promote better health and wellbeing, our projects have a significant dependency on presenting data. Your main responsibilities will be to manage web projects from initiation through to close under the Institutes project management framework and in collaboration with business areas. You will be part of a broader PMO and will be supported by business analysts and subject matter experts to deliver projects. To succeed in this role you will have a good grasp on delivering web projects, be a great communicator and team player. You will ideally have at least 5 years’ experience in managing web projects.

Project Manager Responsibilities:
1. Managing web projects including the delivery of outcomes and benefits, scope boundaries, schedules, quality and budgets
2. Coordinating teams to enable project delivery and transition
3. Overseeing and developing project documentation and reporting progress on delivery
4. Managing relationships and communicating effectively with all project stakeholders, overcome obstacles to delivery through collaboration, communication, problem solving and negotiation
5. Team leadership and development through training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
6. Overseeing procurements and tenders and managing contracts resulting from procurement as they relate to project delivery
7. Identifying and managing risks and overseeing the implementation of risk mitigation plans
8. Conducting project reviews and creating detailed reports for executive staff
