Tender Description
Sutherland Shire Council has a requirement to select suitably qualified contractors for concrete footpath construction and ancillary works.
The scope of work comprises a range of footpath construction works and associated activities on road and parks reserves located in the Sutherland Shire Local Government Area. The majority of work relates to construction of new concrete footpath or upgrading existing footpath assets under Council’s annual footpath construction programme.
The following civil construction services will be required under this contract:
• Footpath Construction;
• Vehicular Footpath Crossing (Driveways);
• Kerb and Gutter; and
• Retaining Wall Construction.
In providing the above services, the Contractor is also responsible for the ancillary activities listed below:
• Site Management;
• Traffic Control;
• Protection of third party property;
• Waste Disposal; and
• Identification of utility services (above & below ground).
