Expressions of interest are being sought from suitably experienced and equipped applicants to receive wild horses removed from Kosciuszko National Park.
National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is capturing and removing wild horses in the north of the park this Spring 2019 as part of the approved Horse Management Plan. The program adheres to established guidelines for animal welfare.
Applications must be made for a minimum of five (5) horses. Upon collection, horses become the property of the applicant to retain, rehome, sell or dispose of in accordance with NPWS guidelines.
