Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) Mobile Food Vendor/s at the Goolwa Beach Carpark

⁠⁠⁠Council has approved the engagement of a Mobile Food Vendor/s for the Goolwa Beach Car Park to commence trade as soon as practicable given the closure of the kiosk at this highly visited location.

Goolwa Beach carpark is located at the end of Beach Road in Goolwa South Australia. With picturesque views of the sea and sand, the location provides a high turnover of trade particularly with local residents; day visitors and overseas and interstate tourists seeking food and coffee while enjoying the beach, sea and views.

Council is looking to activate the Goolwa Beach Precinct over the 2019/20 summer season with the provision of mobile food vending services to meet the local and visitor demand. Long term, future dining services are intended in accordance with the Goolwa Beach Car Park and Environs Masterplan as a Café and Plaza.

Council is now seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Mobile Food Vendor operators to gauge interest in entering a licence agreement with Council to trade from this site. The Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) opened Wednesday 18 September 2019 and closes at 5pm on Friday 4 October 2019.

The location of the Mobile Food Vendor and the commercial terms of the proposed licence are provided in Section D of the REOI.
