Water Corporation is seeking proposals from suitably qualified companies to submit their bids to procure MIEX brine by-product generated at the Wanneroo groundwater treatment plant.

The brine by-product is generated through a filtration process utilising a specially designed resin called magnetic ion exchange (MIEX). The scopes of services comprise, of but not limited to, collection, transportation and reprocessing brine by-product on a long term basis.

The high organic content within the brine by-product is of commercial value for the agricultural and horticultural sector.
