Tender Description

Chevron Australia is seeking expressions of interest from service providers able to provide Subsea Compression Station Foundations in support of the Jansz-Io Compression Project.

Contractor shall provide fabrication of the Subsea Station Foundations.

Scope of work includes (but not limited to):

  • Fabricate 3 shallow skirted mud-matt foundations;
  • 1 off 45x34m 1m skirt
  • 2 off 34x30m 1m skirt

Whilst it is envisaged the mudmats will be constructed of steel, the Project is currently looking at ways to reduce weight on the foundation structure by replacing steel sections with FRP/GRP or an alternative (you can propose one or multiple alternatives based on experience).

The GRP/FRP/Composite panels would need to achieve the following:
1. Advise solutions to connection into the supporting steel sections (Bolted etc.)
2. Panels to take a maximum even pressure of around 20kPa
3. Panels to have a level of perforation (holes) to allow draining.
4. Panels to have a design life of 50 years.
5. Maximum Size of the Panels to be 9.5 x 4.5m
6. Around 100 in quantity (multiple Mudmats)

The scope of work will be full design and supply of the Panels to a location within Australia which will then be joined by a fabricator to the primary steel members.
