Dredging, Bluff Boat Ramp/Channel

⁠⁠⁠TC2019294 - The Dredging site is located within the boat ramp harbor and the existing entrance channel extending from the boat ramp toe to approximately 260m seaward (10m past the last channel marker buoy) in a north east direction and involves the removal of approximately 4000m3 of shallow depth accreted sand to 1.5 LAT (-2.06m AHD) to improve the navigation of the existing channel and boat ramp by sea rescue vessels.

The disposal site is the existing 800m length of beach abutting Franklin Parade between 25m south of Battye Road and Fell Street above the mean high water level. The dredging site is located between 88m and 337m from the nearest dwellings on Franklin Parade. The disposal site is located within 30-40m of the nearest houses on Franklin Parade on the existing section of beach which often contains deposited seagrass wrack.
