Hay Shire Council is seeking Tenders for the detailed design and documentation for the replacement (new construction) of the Matthews Bridge over Murrumbidgee River in Maude, NSW from suitably qualified and experienced bridge design consultants. A more detailed brief of the extent of services required by the Principal is set out in the "Specification" attached to the Request for Tender
Hay Shire is a local government area in the Riverina area of south-western New South Wales. It occupies an area of 11,326 square kilometres and is located adjacent to the Sturt, Mid-western and Cobb Highways. The area includes the town of Hay, Booligal and Maude. The project site is in Maude.
Hay Shire is located on the Hay Plains, one of the flattest sections of land in the world. The community of Hay is an oasis nestled on the banks of the picturesque Murrumbidgee River in south western NSW. Halfway between Sydney and Adelaide and just 4.5 hours from Melbourne, Hay is centrally located.
