Tender Description
Waikato DHB is looking to identify and select an electronic forms and workflow solution to support the organisation in meeting the under-noted objectives.
- BO1. To improve the delivery of clinical services by enabling Waikato DHB to accelerate workflows and streamline processes, including task-based activity, so improving the patient care journey
- BO2. To improve effectiveness of clinical practice and service delivery that supports and improves clinical decision-making for better patient outcomes from referral through to discharge
- BO3. To reduce Waikato DHB’s unnecessary care and clinical service delivery costs and optimise clinician time through the use of technology
- BO4. To have timely access to accurate patient data at a critical point in time in an acute and non-acute setting in order to manage the patient journey more safely, efficiently and practically
- BO5. To create a data asset that enables Waikato DHB to provide insights to Waikato DHB staff members, plus to Ministry of Health, to patients and to other agencies
- BO6. To provide technology that supports strong data governance by Waikato DHB, avoidance of data duplication, metadata development, data mapping for data interoperability, and data standardisation.
