Tender Description
Wellington City Council invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors to complete the scope of work provided in the tender documents. The project, located along Rangiora Avenue, Kaiwharawhara, includes the following works:
- Construction of a new timber staircase to provide a pedestrian connection on the embankment between Hutt Road to Rangiora Avenue;
- Construction of a1.5m-wide footpath on the eastern side of Rangiora Avenue between the staircase #9 Rangiora Avenue, and a 1.5m-wide footpath on the western side of the road between #9 Rangiora Avenue and Sovereign Point (approximately 230m total length);
- Construction of a new timber pole retaining wall for additional road width
- Formalising the parking areas (currently gravel) on Rangiora Avenue, south of #4 Rangiora Avenue
Tenderers are expected to have the suitable relevant experience and the quality management systems to undertake the contract work.
