Tender Description
The Emergency Services Sector (ESS) consisting of: South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS), South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) and South Australian State Emergency Service (SES), is seeking information in relation to Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) for fire-fighting and related types of respiratory equipment, which can be broken into the following segments:
- Segment 1 - Supply of SCBA Sets;
- Segment 2 - Supply of SCBA Cylinders and Cylinder Valves; and
- Segment 3 - Maintenance of SCBA equipment (inc spare Parts).
This information is sought from equipment manufacturers, suppliers and providers of professional services in this field.
SAFECOM has also released a Request for Information (“RFI) for Structural, Rescue and Wildland Helmets (Reference Number: ESS-19-389). Due to the interoperability between SCBA and Helmets, it is recommended suppliers intending to respond to this RFI also review the RFI for the Helmets.
