Sitzler Pty Ltd has recently been awarded the contract to deliver facilities and infrastructure at RAAF Base Darwin to support AIR7000 Phase 2B – Maritime Patrol Aircraft Replacement.

The works to be delivered under the contract will include:

• An extension to the military hardstand
• New apron hardstand
• New fuel hydrant line extension
• New aircraft rinse facility
• New and relocated floodlighting towers
• Flexible and rigid pavements
• Aeronautical ground lighting
• Below ground services and infrastructure including high voltage; and
• Demolition

Sitzler would like to thank local industry for their support, time and effort during the tender period. We are currently negotiating subcontracts with those who lodged pricing during the tender period, however, there are still opportunities for additional participation.

We will utilise the gateway page to update the market regarding any upcoming opportunities that may present themselves through the course of the project and will identify the successful subcontractors which will allow additional opportunities downstream for local industry.
