Tender Description
1. The Transport Agency invites Registration of Interest (ROI) from property management firms wishing to tender for the Property Management Services Contract as a non-exclusive primary supplier.
2. A Property Management Services Contracts is likely to be let for a term of 3+3+3 years with the two extensions being performance based and at NZ Transport Agency’s sole description.
3. The contract area covers one or more of the four NZ Transport Agency Regions as per the attached diagram.
4. The Transport Agency holds approximately 2,000 properties that are varied in size, and use from commercial/industrial, rural, orchards, residential and lifestyle uses, with a mix of leasable and unleasable, some properties with and some without improvements.
5. The portfolio is dynamic due to on-going acquisition and disposals. The properties being actively purchased are for use in future projects and/or for operational purposes, while properties in the disposal programme are now surplus following completion of projects.
6. Property Management Contractors will be required to use SAP - the NZ Transport Agency property system. This is a hosted software system accessible through a secure URL.
7. It is envisaged that Contracts will be awarded in April 2020 with Contracts commencing on 1st July 2020.
8. ROI submission closes at 5pm Friday 27 September 2019.
9. ROI involves submitting a maximum three A4 page letter advising:
a) Company name
b) Contact details
c) Brief company profile
d) Recent experience in managing a diverse property portfolio
e) Proficiency and skills in working with SAP, excel and managing large datasets
10. Future steps of the procurement process will be by invitation to contractors registered through this ROI process. The tender process will not be re-advertised publicly.
