Sheet Pile Wall Remediation, Port Hedland

⁠⁠⁠Scope of work

Dampier Salt, Port Hedland Operations requires remediation work on the dry salt bridge sheet pile wall.

The scope of work includes:

• excavation and transport of borrow materials, to be used as engineered fill, from company designated borrow areas to the site;
• construction and installation of the L shaped concrete retaining wall (drawings and specification will be provided)
• disposal of, or if suitable, reuse of excavated foundation materials;
• placement of engineered fill to full retaining height to form the northern embankment of the eastern abutment;
• testing of compacted layers of fill for compliance with the specification;
• placement of cement stabilised sand beneath suspended slab; and
• as-constructed survey of the completed retaining wall and north eastern embankment slope.
