Tender Description
In May 2019 the McGowan Government announced a $4.5 million boost in funding for advocacy services supporting people with disability, their families and carers. Of this funding, $2.5 million was directly allocated to existing advocacy providers to ease short-term pressure related to increased demand as people transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
The State Party is undertaking a Registration of Interest (ROI) process to determine how the remaining funding of $2 million should be allocated to increase the provision of independent advocacy, legal and advisory services for people with disability, their families and carers in WA.
