Tender Description
Rotorua Lakes Council (RLC) will soon be releasing a Request for Tender (RFT) for combined maintenance and management of the roading network to replace a number of existing contracts with expiry dates beginning 30 June 2020.
The suite of roading services intended to be covered by the RFT includes:
- Maintenance of sealed and unsealed roads
- Reseals, including pre-seal repairs
- Footpath and Cycleways maintenance
Asset management including
- Operations, maintenance and renewal planning, including programme development
- Data capture and analysis
- Condition assessment
- Assistance with developing activity management plans and Long Term Plan funding requests
- Procurement, contract management and physical works supervision of third party maintenance contracts (with potential for some of these services to be provided by this Contractor when current contracts expire)
