| Description: | Tweed Shire Council manages significant areas of natural vegetation, much of which is of high conservation value. This includes coastal vegetation, riparian vegetation, rainforests and wetlands. Many of these areas are habitat for threatened species.
In order to undertake restoration and rehabilitation works within these areas, Council regularly requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced bushland regenerators. In order to streamline the procurement of these services, Council is inviting contractors to submit an expression of interest to be included on a panel of providers to undertake restoration and rehabilitation works on Council managed and private lands as required.
As and when required, Council will issue parcels of works to any member(s) of the panel of providers, whose offer is considered to be the most advantageous to Council having regard to cost, quality and availability.
Council gives no Guarantee to any amount of works under this Contract.
Work will be requested on a needs basis by the various Council Divisions.
