Supply and Deliver Commercial Grade Pool Chemicals

⁠⁠⁠SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

Council requires the supply and delivery of commercial grade swimming pool chemicals for use in Council's leisure facilities including:

• Granulated Calcium Hypochlorite (70% Granular, suitable for Prominent Fluid Controls ProCal_3240A )
• Granulated Calcium Hypochlorite Briquettes (minimum 65%)
• Granulated Sodium Thiosulphate
• Granulated Aluminium Sulphate
• Granulated Calcium Chloride
• Granulated Cyanuric Acid
• Hydrochloric Acid (Liquid Pool Acid Muriatic 32%)
• Soda Ash

Tenderers must comply with the following Act and Regulation;

• Dangerous Goods (Road and Rail Transport) Act 2008, and
• Dangerous Goods (Road and Rail Transport) Regulation 2014

Tenderers must also comply with the following code;

• Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road & Rail, Edition 7.5, 2017
• All Chemicals must be compliant with Global Harmonised System (GHS) requirements and not exceed 20kg in weight per unit.
• Tenderers may tender for one or more of the listed Chemicals. Council may appoint a panel of providers as a result of this Tender.

SCHEDULE

Contract let: November 2019
Services may be requested from: 1 December 2019
Term services may be required: Two years with an option for extension of 12 months
