The NSW Government has made a significant investment into mental health and wellbeing of paramedics that will ensure that NSW Ambulance can continue to develop and grow its complement of staff. The NSW Ambulance Wellbeing Investment Program is currently being rolled out to provide a comprehensive range of integrated physical and mental health and wellbeing strategies designed to improve employee wellbeing and build a supportive workplace culture.
The Medic Fit program involves low-intensity and low-risk exercises that help support the paramedic in their health and fitness goals as well as improving the health status of operational staff thus reducing the chance of developing chronic disease
