Iron Bridge Magnetite Project - Cranes and Hoists

⁠⁠⁠IB Operations invites expressions of interest (EOI) from capable and experienced contractors and suppliers, who are safety focused and price competitive for this package 662NSP0003 Cranes and Hoists.

Registrants are required to provide the following information as part of its EOI:
a. an ICN Gateway company profile, current in all material respects; and
b. completed Preliminary Prequalification Information. IB Operations will use the EOIs to improve its understanding of market capability and interest. Suitable Registrants may be invited to submit a tender for this package 662NSP0003 Cranes and Hoists

At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the Supply includes the design, manufacture, assembly, factory testing, packaging for transport and loading onto transport of various Cranes and Hoists for use across the Dry and Wet Process Plants, generally consisting of the following:

• Primary Crusher A and Primary Crusher B Maintenance Jib Crane;
• Screen Maintenance Crane;
• Grinding Mill Media Loading Crane;
• various Monorail Cranes; and
• complete cranes/hoists including:
• steel bridge;
• jib and gantry structures;
• end carriages;
• long travel drive;
• crane crabs and hoists;
• cross travel drives;
• complete catenary systems for long travel and cross travel drives;
• roving pendant control for each crane of each type;
• radio control for each crane of each type;
• cabling on bridge;
• crab and end carriages;
• travel limit switches and proximity switches for all motions;
• mechanical end stops;
• jacking pads;
• rail sweeps;
• brakes for general operation as well as discrete fail-safe brakes and/or limiting clutches (for monorail hoists);
• isolators to isolate the electrical supply to the crane (lockable in the off position);
• cubicles and enclosures as required; and
• main drive motors including motor base plates with alignment in X, Y, Z planes and all mounting hardware where required.

Australian Standards apply to this package.

The Iron Bridge Magnetite Project, including this package 662NSP0003 Cranes and Hoists is subject to internal approvals. The procurement process or scope, may change at the IB Operations’ election, including to accommodate project budget and time requirements.
