Expression of Interest for Leasing of Richmond Valley Council’s Woodview Quarry

⁠⁠⁠Richmond Valley Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from parties interested in exploring business opportunities associated with Council’s Woodview Quarry operations.

Richmond Valley Council is located on the Far North Coast of NSW with the major center of Casino and the sea side village of Evans Head in the shire.

Council currently operates one Quarry. Woodview, Quarry which is located approximately 10 km west of Casino along the Bruxner Highway towards Tenterfield. The Woodview Quarry has been owned and operated by Richmond Valley Council for some time and primarily services the needs of council with some external markets.

The Woodview Quarry produces high quality aggregates, gabion rock, various road base products, flood blend for Council’s unsealed roads maintenance and overburden.Council wishes to make this Woodview Quarry available to the open market (via a lease or Profit a Prendre) rather than operate it in house.
