Removal, Inspection and Reinstallation of Bore Pumps

⁠⁠⁠The following Scope of Work is required to be performed by the Contractor for all six (6) bores:

• Consult with Utilities Representative confirming the sequence required for the bore pump removal so as to maintain sufficient output for operational purposes;
• Set up lifting equipment at the designated location as per the Contractor SWP;
• Coordinate the isolation procedure with Utilities Representative. Rio Tinto will perform the isolation;
• Remove bore pump from casing, taking care not to damage the pump or electrical cabling;
• Any equipment used in the existing bores must be sterilised;
• Upon removal the bore pump is to be lowered onto a purpose built cradle and secured;
• The existing Wellmaster hose is to be inspected whilst being wound onto the contractor provided hose reel, any damage is to be reported to the Utilities Representative to determine any action needed;
• The existing electrical cable is to be inspected whilst being wound onto a suitably sized cable drum, any damage is to be reported to the Utilities Representative to determine any action needed;
• The pump and cable drum is to be transported to Utilities workshop in Tom Price where a pump refurbishment bench will be made available for the Contractor to layout the pump to enable a detailed component inspection;
• The reports will be submitted to the Utilities Representative in a timely manner, to enable any remedial work to be undertaken whilst removed;
• Upon reassembly the pump and cable will be resecured to the cradle and transported to site for reinstallation; and
• Coordinate the de-isolation procedure with Utilities Representative. Rio Tinto will perform the de-isolation.
