Roma Bore 20, Borehole Drilling and Construction

⁠⁠⁠20004 - Maranoa Regional Council invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to submit a schedule of rates pricing and supporting documentation for the construction of Roma Town Bore 20.

The requirement for an additional bore located in Roma has arisen from the lack of redundancy with the existing bores, should a large bore fail during the peak demand times. This bore is located closer to the reservoirs and will feed directly into them providing more security of providing adequate pressure.

Works to be carried out under this project comprise the drilling, casing, cementing, developing and testing of one (1) town water production bore for the Maranoa Regional Council’s Roma Town Water Supply, using suitable drilling plant and equipment.
