Malbina Cemetery Improvements

⁠⁠⁠Derwent Valley Council provides and maintains an extensive network of civil infrastructure over an area of 4,111km2. Situated west of Hobart, the primary service centre of the Municipality is New Norfolk.

In continuing to improve its project and asset management capability, Derwent Valley Council has invested considerable time and effort in determining the best way to appropriately select assets requiring improvement utilising a risk based approach, and to engage appropriately qualified and experienced consultants and contractors, willing to work with Derwent Valley Council to deliver the best solutions and practices to address identified risks.

Work components include new roads and parking areas, kerb and gutter, footpaths, stormwater management and general landscaping at the Malbina Cemetery.

Derwent Valley Council has a commitment to providing and managing a high quality network of assets, enhancing local industries and sustainably managing assets which support its service offerings to continue to improve and enhance its civil infrastructure.

A site briefing will be provided commencing 10.00am Thursday 29 August 2019 at the Works Depot Glebe Road New Norfolk. Following a short briefing and question session, the site be visited.
