Tender Description
The Central Coast Council seeks appoint a building contractor and enter into a Guaranteed Maximum Price contractor for the construction of the Ulverstone Cultural Precinct.
This precinct will include a new facility that will house the Visitor Information Centre, History Museum with its research library as well as the new Science Centre and planetarium.
It will also include art gallery spaces, cafe and special purpose workshop areas suitable for woodcraft and other activities.
Surrounding areas will be landscaped to compliment the facilities activities and provide an active and inviting space for the local community and visitors to the area to enjoy.
The Ulverstone Cultural Precinct Project is an example of a new form of community and civic building.
With no single use or single facility, it is a hybrid form of public building, reflecting and embracing the
diversity of Ulverstone and the North West Coast.
