Plumbing Service

⁠⁠⁠Whangarei District Council (Council) is going to market for the provision of plumbing services.

This project is intended to provide a panel of plumbing service providers to provide a range of plumbing and related services to Council.

The process will be a two-staged open market process:

• Registration of Interest (ROI)
•  Request for Proposal (RFP)

This ROI is the first formal step in the process and is intended to be of minimal effort for the respondents and allow Council to create a short list of suppliers to invite to enter the RFP process.

The areas covered by this project are plumbing services for Council owned:

•  Public Toilets
•  Sanitary plumbing
•  Minor roofing repairs
•  Provision of asbuilts for new work (when requested)
•  Provision of asbuilts for existing services (when requested)
•  After hours callouts 24/7/365

As noted above, Council sometimes requires after hours and weekend services, however by preference non-urgent work is held over until the next working day.
