Tender Description
Yellow crazy ant (YCA) infestations on Christmas Island have increased in size to the point where intervention, in the form of an aerial baiting campaign, is required to protect the biodiversity of the island.
The overall outcome of the Tender is to successfully disperse Antoff® ant bait aerially at an even rate of 4kg/ha across all known super-colonies of YCA across Christmas Island after deploying chicken pellets to lure out non-target species. This will reduce the numbers of YCA and protect the island’s biodiversity.
