Moeraki Wastewater Pumping and Irrigation Scheme

⁠⁠⁠The Moeraki wastewater oxidation ponds currently discharge treated wastewater from a wetland downstream of the oxidation ponds into the South Branch of Waiwherowhero stream to the north of the pond system. This discharge location is no longer consented and a new discharge location to land system must be constructed.

A new location has been selected in line with resource consent requirements on Katiki Straight, to the South of Moeraki.

This contract is for the supply, installation and commissioning of a new wastewater irrigation system, pumping stations, irrigation field, 2,462m of 75 OD PN12.5 PE100 rising main along State Highway 1 from the Moeraki WWTP site to the disposal area located on farm land to the south east of the site
