Chevron Australia is seeking expression of interest (EOI) from service providers able to provide supply crane hire services for Gorgon, Barrow Island (BWI) Oilfield and Thevenard Island.
The BWI Crane hire services with or without operator scope includes (but not limited to):
1) Provision of onsite crane hire equipment and associated equipment maintenance;
2) Provision of lifting equipment as defined in relevant lift study for each lift;
3) Provision of regular servicing and maintenance of Contractor’s mobile and fixed plant;
4) Provision of suitably qualified, competent and experienced crane operators to perform crane lifting requirements;
5) Provision of trained and experienced rigging personnel to support lifting operation requirement
6) All services in accordance with the latest version of Applicable (i) Australian Standard AS 25501 – 2011: Cranes, hoists and winches – safe use general requirements, (ii) Australian Standard AS 4991-2004 Lifting Devices (iii) All maintenance and repair of equipment to be in accordance with Australian Standards AS1418.1-2002; and
7) Provision of experienced trainer to provide training for crane operating competency and familiarisation in the Area of Operations for Company’s other contractor personnel as required by Company on an adhoc basis.
