1 x Program Manager – Information and Data Management Agenda

⁠⁠⁠This role is for an experienced Program Manager who will be able to undertake the following :

* Development of a data agenda, implementation plan, objectives and timelines
* Produce a multi-year roadmap and year one detailed plan with key milestones to deliver on the departments IDM agenda
* Leverage and acknowledge the department’s current state and progress against the IDM Agenda when developing the roadmap year one plan and status
* Coordinate and manage outcomes and stakeholders against the plan above across the organisation that contribute to the implementation of the IDM Agenda
* Produce an executive summary of the key recommendations and outcomes of the agenda
* Possess an understanding of the development and implementation of Data and Analytics capabilities within government agencies with reference to data sharing and strategy
* Hold an understanding of internal and external data governance and sharing practices that are in alignment with government direction to enable organisation capability
* Delvelop regular written infographic style status reports for senior level committees as well as actively escalate risks and issues, as required
* Provide guidance and support to enable the successful delivery of the IDM agenda via pragmatic advice and program/project delivery.
* Provision of high quality, timely advice and recommendations to senior management as part of the delivery of the agenda
* Business engagement and liaison

The role will be required to work across all areas of the department to ensure that the strategy and road map reflect real business challenges, is actionable and will provide value to the department.

It is expected the position will have a direct reporting line to the Assistant Secretary as well as the Director of Data Policy in the Information Services Division.
