Tender Description
The Food Safety Unit of DPI Biosecurity and Food Safety (BFS) branch (NSW Food Authority) undertakes analytical testing of a range of food and environmental samples. NSW Food Authority is responsible for:
* Responding to reports of suspected foodborne illness, food complaints and food incidents Enforcement action including seizure, closure orders and prosecutions Food Surveillance activities to ensure food is safe and complies with food legislation Providing science and evidence to inform policy and risk management.
