The NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) has responsibility for delivering the Higher School Certificate (HSC) annually. To assist in this process NESA has developed and maintains an Examination Systems (MarkManager) to assist in the marking of examination papers. MarkManager has reached a point where it not only serves NESA’s internal needs but has been adopted by other organisations, both in Australia and abroad.

NESA is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified suppliers to assist in the process of scanning completed examination papers, which are then marked on screen. Due to the number of papers that are required to be scanned, NESA requires a high-performance scanner which is able to rapidly convert papers to PDF. NESA currently uses Kodak Alaris i4850 scanners to complete this task.

NESA is seeking a supplier that will be able to offer Kodak Alaris i4850 scanners as a six months rental over two years, with once a year preventative maintenance and the next business day support.

Once responses are received and evaluated relevant supplier may be invited to provide a quotation for the provision of this service.
