Tender Description
McKinlay Shire Council (Council) is wishing to engage a suitability qualified and capable organisation for the design and construction of two new Artesian Bath Houses to be constructed as part of an overall landscaping Master Plan for the Julia Creek Caravan Park.
Council currently have four bathhouses on the site which are managed by the Julia Creek Caravan Park’s Management.
The baths are supplied by the McKinlay Shire’s Julia Creek Potable Water Network, which it sourced from the Great Artesian Basin; the network is a direct supply with no treatment as it meets the ADWG.
The water temp is around 55oC direct from the Water Reticulation Network and cold mixing water is supplied by a conversion pipework buried around the Bathhouses i.e. Rolls of Poly Pipe.
McKinlay Shire Council engaged Form Landscape Architects as a consultant to supply the Master Plan and this Plan will form part of the Principal’s Requirements for this Tender.
Council intends for the following:
* The design and construction of 2 x New Bath Houses in the style of Boundary Riders Huts.
* The construction, supply and installation of the civil works for the project.
* The supply and installation of the Landscaping as to the Concept Design supplied.
* The works required to incorporate Council’s Bush Dinner Kitchen into part of the Landscape Design.
